The main guy behind Sportsmania has said on his Facebook group that it's virtually impossible for them to do this. If they ban a domain name, Sportsmania just open a new one and point everybody st that.

Yeah would need satellite and internet...

I have Satellite, but I've just got Sky Q in. When this contract runs out I might look into this.

I had multiscreen with sky so I cancelled and put in a zgemma to see how it would work out. Delighted with it - the odd time it does freeze for a few seconds (even with a hardwired BB connection) but that's a small price to pay

Yeah, signed up a couple of weeks ago, the difference in the links is incredible. I added a trakt account at the same time which is great for keeping the stuff you follow easy to find.

Boycey, re the "crackdown" on 3pm games......

As a SportsMania subscriber do you think that I will need a VPN to view the games or will SportsMania take care of that so I don't have to worry about it?

Here's what the guy running Sportsmania says on his page

Quote
Right this is my 1 and only post about this guys so please refrain from making new ones.
Yes i've seen the news "S*y have permission to try to take down streaming devices,
Will this affect any of the services i run?
No not in the slightest,
As i have said in the past i already have about 10 backup plans.
So hypothetically lets say something on SM/SNHD/UM was blocked  what would be the downtime?
Honest answer: about 5 minutes.

Why not longer than 5 minutes? well if i told everyone then it wouldn't be a plan would it but you guys have trusted me for coming up now 5 years and we are still here so stop worrying if there is anything that concerns me you guys will be the 1st to hear it.

Now enjoy the service you pay for and stop worrying and leave that to me and if i'm not worrying neither should you!

A few FAQ answered:

Q) If you do get blocked will i need to do anything?
A) Only thing you will have to do is update your addons / apps and if you have bookmarked our site then unbookmark it and follow the instructions we set.

Q) How likely is this going to happen?
A) Unlikely

Q) Will i need a VPN?
A) No

Now i hope this puts it to bed guys and you all stop worrying as thats what you pay me for ;) so just sit back and enjoy.

Thanks Boycey.

One other question that came into my head......

Can you add your Real Debrid account to any of the IPTV services on the zGemma?

123movies seems to have gone dead on the IPTV the last week or so; hence my wondering how to get good sources on the IPTV as it is more convenient than Kodi for me

Kodi 17 is pretty slick. Takes a bit of getting used to but I like it.

I don't know but would doubt it, I had to go into Exodus setting to add real-Debrid account details and don't see where you would do that with the iptv? There's an add on installed on my zGemma which claims to remove services that aren't working, try updating that if ur not using it currently.

I completely stopped using zGemma for streaming since I got the real Debrid account. I fished out an old fire stick I'd given up on and put it in a spare hdmi slot on tv. Exodus works brilliantly on it, live stuff from Sportsmania it still struggles with.

There are big changes on Sportsmania today, worth checking its working for you now and save you farting around with it when you are looking to watch a game...

UPDATE:
Ok so we are going to go with the domain switch,
New domain name is http://sportsmania.rocks,
ANYTHING you see with http://sportsmania.eu will no longer be us,
Now here's where we need your help guys.
If you were brought here by lets say a forum, Facebook page, Twitter, club chat site etc etc etc then help us out by telling them the new domain and also here's what now is going to be a long day for myself and the staff:
We are gonna need to do the following:
1) Update the Kodi addons (first on my list)
2) Update the apps
3) Update the sites urls
So while we do this if you can help us so we can do everything a lot quicker then that be great.
Otherwise sit tight we are going as fast as we can ok guys wont be more than a couple hours.
A bulk email will be sent out in the next hour or 2 guys letting you all know about the domain change as well guys so when you receive it let me know on this thread.

AZ - He says no its not because of being blocked

Lurganblue - I'm not sure mate, if sportsnationHD ends in .eu I'd suspect it is affected.
